I seem to have.. ah.. lost my x3 password. I have the password removal tool, does anyone the process i g about to remove it? Ie. where to copy the xbe to and such?

just ftp it to anywhere on your xbox and run the .xbe from any dash as you would an app. or through the file manager.
boot backup bios.
flash x2 or m8 bios
boot xbox
ftp x3_erase to drive
run x3_erase program
boot backup bios
flash X3 bios
enjoy

Hmmm, the search button is acting strange. I tried to find an other post (http://www.teamxecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23893) with it to test it out. I searched the word "Potentiometer" which is in the title and when I pressed enter, the search didn't find it but when I search for "variable resistor" there it is. Not entirely right...you can just flash the bios to a 256Kb bank and boot using that. That way you don't need to reflash.
And another thing to try first is check and make sure your password is not more than 8 characters long. The X3 only will store the first 8 characters of your password no matter how long it is.
