I'm fragging, is my soldering bad?

So I just installed a 2.6CE on my 1.6b. When I plug it in, if I set the switch to "chip enable", i frag (red/green lights after powering up and down 2-3 times). When I turn the chip off, I boot into normal Xbox mode.

The good news is that at least i didnt fry my motherboard doing the soldering (right?). The bad news is that I'm fragging.

Is this almost assuredly a soldering issue?

Yep, it almost has to be.

If you go the the second link in my sig it'll go over how to use a Mulitmeter to check to see if you have good connections on your pin header. It also goes over how to desolder and clean up a messy board.

Good luck!

If you check it with the multimeter and everything looks good, take a look at the switches and the wires going to them. Make sure you didn't pinch any wires, and make sure they are connected well.
