Im getting my router set up tomorrow can i ftp?

I had my xbox modded by someone else and im setting my router up tomorrow but my question is (im pretty sure this is correct) since i didnt set my modchip up will the neccessary files be on my computer to like add skins and stuff or do i need to download any programs except the ftp program

FTP is not a program, it's a protocal. There are programs that support this protocal but pretty much any dash and the x3 bios supports ftp.

You just need ftp software on your machine. You can ftp with IE or even a command prompt.

The programs just make it more user freindly.

Hey, make changes for xbox to use DHCP to get IP from router and then restart xbox
use any DASH that have FTP servers (Evox, Avalaunch, XMBC, and on) to download games and apps and skins... Have fun!
