Im looking at a new case

i saw this new case and i really want it, they have a piece that allows you to take off the top of your DVD drive and have it spinning. it says you need a thompson or samsung dvd drive though. is it possible to do it, say, with a hitachi lg dvd drive?

never heard of it! but any ways, dont buy that case, you will be disappointed, when you screw the 6 main screws in, the case will crack REALLY easy, but if you buy a XCM you can get them for clear/blue, or crystal/clear, it wont break as easy and its about the same price, as far as the dvd drive thing goes, post a pic and i can tell you

buy one of the xcm (think thats it) cases they are way better

well i dont kno. my dvd rom says on the top taht it is a hitachi-LG data storage system, then says "DVD-ROM"

what about this light for under the jewel. is it to good to be true that you just plug it in?

no it wont work on that dvd drive, sorry, you are going to have to make a coustom one yourself and for the jewel ring, if you are going to buy one already made, whats the fun in that! solder one together! get the leds, resisitors, and wire from sickmods.net all you need is a soldering iron and a lil help from us on here then. lol so get back to me about what you think...
