just make a v3 probe, all you need is a drive power cable and a switch.

You will never regret the combo ck3 and probe equals a lot less work

Just make your own probe if you don't want to buy one just yet.
A PMT probe is really simple to make.
-Probe wire goes to ground
-Switch on 3.3v line (if really cheap just two wires you twist together)
