 Im totally lost. I've spent the last two weeks reading posts and every time I think I got it figured out I don't. In 2012 I put a coolrunner rev A in the trinity I have. RGH'd it successfully and no issues for 2 years. Then came Demon. Installed that and was able to get both sides to boot. I have to add that I did all this following Tutorials and with very little understanding of the concepts behind what a nand is and ecc etc. You don't have to add that I should have had a professional do this, I've seen enough posts with that added. I was fine until I tried to update the retail side on M$ Live and the power in the house went out during the update. After that both sides would give me a red light after approx 20-25 seconds. I have since been able to rebuild an image to the Demon side and it boots to Xell and Freestyle. I am stuck at this point. I would hand over my box to a professional right now if I knew of any in my area, just to save the hassle. However, I find this really interesting and am learning alot. I thought the soldering would be the hard part, no way. Is there a way to find out if my stock nand is still good. I used Multi-builder to build the original RGH and still have the CPU and nanddump.bin from that. I used J-runner to program everything now. I tried to flash the nanddump.bin to the retail side with no results. Do I need to build a retail image with my original dash with xebuild before flashing? Sorry, feel like an idiot here. If I have the steps to follow then I will post logs and pics of the instal if you want, however, I don't think the install is the issue (not that I would know).

Easy fix, you will just need the original nand dump, or your cpu key and extracts to build a new image. Just load your hacked band, and get the extracts from it from the tab at the top and save that info along with the cpu key. Honestly, you can probably just build a retail image right from the hacked one, but not sure as I haven't ever tried that.

Not if it was modded two years ago and has been updated since then. The LVD is different and needs modified.
ya u right I see he updated retail side which then blows effuse/so then he would have to create a retail dump with what he has since he does have the cpu key

1. Boot xell and count the number of f's in fuseset 07. Write it down.
2. Load jrunner, load nanddump in source box, input cpu key.
3. Select dash version you want and choose the retail radio button.
4. Go to the advanced menu and select "change ldv".
5. Input the number of f's you counted in fuseset 07.
6. Build ypur nand image and write it to your nand.

for now on anytime you update the stock nand you need to read your nand again and get rid of the old one so you dont have to go threw this again

So, I think I kinda understand the LDV thing. Everytime I updated it would have advanced by 1, correct? So I dumped the glitched nand before programing the Demon nand. Should I try to build a retail nand based on that one? Or do I try to change the LDV on the original nand? I tried to change that value in J-runner but didn't seem to see any changes in the windows in the nand info. Not sure what they mean anyway. I'm certainly not smart enough to be a developer, but for someone who fixes airplanes for a living I thought I could handle this.

Thanks jligg, I didn't read your post until I posted there. I will try that, one question though. When I change the LDV in the Advanced menu where will I see the new value?

LDV means Lock down Value, go into J-Runner, then into the "Advanced" tab and then to "Change Lock Down Value", it wont show the LDV instantly but when you create the image it will say it in the black box.

Good luck.

Thanks, all. I think that I may have a handle on the problem. I noticed J-runner recently, on my computer, was no longer showing the advertising along the margin. And when I first built the Demon image and added the dash there were many options to choose from uploading to J-runner. Now when I go to add a dash there is nothing there. When I check the xebuild folder there are only 3 dashes there (13599,16537,16547), and none match the nand that I am trying to build 13604, will that make a difference? Not sure how to get all the dash options back. I remember reading a post with a similar problem that talked about .net framework, but I made sure mine was up to date. Any Idea where I can get dashes and manually load them? Or am I going down the rabbit hole again?

I think the server is down. At least it was for me all day yesturday. When I ran the files check it gave a connection error.

Even if I go to the download section and try to download jrunner it fails aswell
