i understood that he is not crossflashable..
now i want to buy new one..
does it work fine?

Buy a liteon 424 from newegg, they still have Rev B's in stock.

yes the liteon 424b can be flashed with the ihas firmware.

if you're going to be buying a drive, why waste time looking at an alternative drive when you can buy one of the original drives the FW was intended for?
