HITACHI 79 img burn ??? 79 unlock cd

Hi there,

Having started following the tut on flashing the 79 i burned the unlock cd 4 times and still it wont work, im just wondering do i have to have specific settings / speed to burn as i changed the write setting to burn back ups?

you have to put drive into mod b b4 using unlock cd. and you have to burn it to a cd no dvd or dl. burn at max speed.

yep was in mode b mate and using cd too, will try burning at max speed see if that does anything

Nope no joy, and im running out of blank discs !!! , im sure this is supposed to be easier??!!??!! ha
says failed to play 79unlock cd , and the usb pro has a flashing blue led on it ?? any clues for the spa ??? lol

To diab - i have and am stuck at the 79 unlock cd mate.
to playing max, yeah the drive shows up as drive H in my computer

not quiet sure what to do next !!! Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

ok have tried another twice and getting same results ?
If i unplug and start everything fresh the drive is showing up straight away as cd/dvd drive but when trying to play unlock79 cd getting same error, i even updated imgburn and burned my last cd , tried again, still wont play.
X360usb has a blue blinking led with LO4 above it ? What does this mean ?

not too many threads available for the hitachi-79.
the drive is recognized by jf. once i send mode b, i get no hitachi drives found no matter how many times i refresh. it opens and closes with the jf commands. my first hitachi flash, but i have flashed and swapped liteons and benqs. I have the 79_unlock cd from the link ubergeeks tutorial. using ck3 jf 1.84 beta. windows7. hitachi firmware in jffw folder. 79unlock cd burned at max speed w imgburn in tray. any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks i just burn the cue.file and it worked after 2 bad rips
