The dvd burner is an Lite-On Ihas124 b with the proper f/w for this application.
The dvd is a Verbatim 8x DL
I am running ImgBurn 2.5.7.0 and Windows 7
Let me know if you need any more hardware info.

I ran the game through ABGX360 and everything checked out ok. I
It looks to me like the layer break is what failed. I was trying to backup "KINECT RUSH - A Disney PIXAR Adventure". Do you think it was a bad disk. I just don't want to waist another DL disk if I don't have to. In Tools/Setting/Write everything is set to defaults except for "Perform OPC Before Write". I have this checked. Under options for "Layer Break" it is set at "Calculate Optional". I was told that these settings should be fine for my particular setup. What do you think??

Thanks

Sometimes you have to go through some coasters before you find the optimal settings, each setup is differently

Well here's how I got it to burn sucessfully. I unchecked "Perform OPC Before Write". Will that effect if the disk will play or not??? (I can't test it until tomorrow.)

Good to know Disk0. I didn't know if it was mandatory to use that setting. I was thinking that maybe the disk would burn successfully but might not play the backup. I will try the burn out this afternoon and see if all is well.

Thanks

That's a great guide!!! There are however a couple of things I don't get... When they say to power cycle the drive, does that mean re-boot my computer?? If not, what does it mean? And also, where will I find the EEPROM settings they are talking about??

Thanks

Thanks Sherlock:

I looked around forever in imgburn to find the settings that you guys were talking about and I finally found them. I then proceeded to adjust my settings to the recommended ones and try the Verbatim mkm003's and it worked successfully!!!! Now I know where most of the settings are done, but I am still wondering about, "Power cycling the drive" is all about, but I bet the guide you just pointed me at is clear that up!

Thanks and Happy Easter!!!
