Immediate power-on when plug cable w/ eject brd, FRAG wo/ it

When I've got the power on/eject board plugged in, I get an immediate power-on when I plug up the power cable. The power button is completely ignored no matter what I press, and the mod is disabled.

If I remove the board altogether, the xbox powers on normally, but I get FRAG.

I just got it installed but this is as far as I've gotten. Is there a way to enable the chip without the eject board or am I missing something else entirely?

You've found your problem on your own...
There are a number of people posting that report solder bridges (shorts) on the back of the reset/eject/power board.

Peel off the sticky stuff and have a look on the back

What exactly am I looking for on the back of the board?

all the soldered pins on the back should be seperate ie no two solder joints joined together...where there is any that are joined together just re-touch those joints by removing existing solder and re-soldering.

After that we have a frag problem to fix too...
check all your LPC build very carefully

Ok, the problem w/ the power was super easy. Yes indeed, there were 2 solder points that were very obviously connecting. I don't see how the hell something like that ever left the mfg facility.

The FRAG was a bit more elusive, but I sat down and resoldered all of the LPC points, and now I get a 3.01 bios screen. GREAT!!!
