Improved Cooling

I have done many cooling mods to my XBOX, and temps read as if i put the box in a Fridge. Now on one of my other Boxes, it is starting to get a little hot for my tastes and I came across a little MCPX Heatsink made by "XPSMods". Im wondering, because of its size, will the heatsink damage the X3? I could make it to where it scotts a little bit away from the X3 because if I were to put it on there how its supposed to be, the edge of the Heatsink would be sticking a little bit under the Chip. Could I maybe Move it out from under and make it stick off of the chip a little bit?

I picked up this ugly heatsink from Radio Shack. It's kinda big, but it works. I just stuck it on there with thermal tape. The heatsink doesn't have to be perfectly centered on the chip. Mine is off-centered so the X3 will fit. Plus the MCPX doesn't really need a whole lot of cooling anyway.

ya i've seen the xpsmods heatsink ur talkin about... it looks pretty huge to me which is why i never picked one up but if you get it to fit it should work great.
