Easy but great In game shutdown i know you can just do a IGR but if you have a cd in it just reboots the cd or if you had the Ms dash as you main dash you couldnt do shutdown.

I'd like a in game shutdown 
Would much rather have CD/DVD Disable though... then you could just boot to dash and shut down.

is there a simple app that just powers down the xbox, im sure it wouldn't be hard to make if there isn't one, you could then set it as your quick launch on x3 ? IGR then quick launch to turn off xbox.
Dashboards have IGS Though... dont need an app. I'm sure you could modify a dash to auto do it, though...
what about putting the disc in for you automatically?

Look at it from an other perspective:
I'm drinkin' beer with my mates and I shout "put NFSU2 in the xbox". Next mister drunk next to the xbox pushes the power button and then can't turn it on normaly without pressing the powerbutton too long! I have to get up push te button myself and click all the way throug my dashboard.
Well I like to open the tray myself, order some dumbass to just put a DVD in it and fiola no more problems!
And besides you can even joke around with the dvd tray

i'd probably use an ingame shutdown function, if it existed
