I have Phat liteon74850c, I have all flashing software,fw etc...I also have a ck3pro + single probe, my goal is to reach lt3.0 for this drive, the console is on latest dash......believe it or not I have flashed a few consoles before with no problem, however this one is proving to be a t**t......I also have all original dummy bin,key,etc....for some reason I can't establish the current fw for the drive and have lost the plot entirely, so much so that I've go out of the house before I launch the entire lot through the patio window! Now before anyone jumps on the guides bandwagon, yes I know there plenty but haven't the time now cause this console is a friends, who I stupidly said no problem I'll do it...........can someone please assist thanks:confused:

I'll try it as soon as I gain my composure, thank you......I do not charge anyone for this just enjoy the odd one or two, I've been up since 4am this morning and even the simplest of tasks seem daunting........should have gone to sleep when I got in, apologies to the home of modding, I have let you all down today!

Thanks just tried, getting flash chip properties:

Vendor Id: 0 0
Device 0 0
Name unknown
Size n/a
Type Status 0xD2


Then in dialog box, Unknown flash type write aborted???

and in drive properties DVD key is not found

Why also, when in firmware 32 tab does it state the drive firmware rev 74850, when the console is on latest 2.0.14719.0, thought drives were updated after a certain dash?? What should I do start from scratch, as I say I have the drive key etc

Hit liteon erase again and power cycle. Sometimes the flashchip properties don't show up fully. Just keep trying the liteon erase. Remember no matter what you do software wise it is nearly impossible to brick a liteon.

reading the JF tut over and over is a must aswell as is the search tab,i must of done about 3months research before doing my first xbox flash.i make an effort to come on the forums at least 3 times a week to keep intouch as things are changing all the time so its gud to keep in the know.:D

That's good, believe me I have read and researched many times.......I have flashed quite a few drives with no problems before, this ones just proving to be a little stubborn

Hit the nail WRITE (pardon the misspelled pun) on the head.
All the info you need on the usage of jf with all hackable drives is contained within the jungleflasher guide itself.
There are also PER DRIVE guides written and posted here in the forums themselves.
