When you got that message, did you try to reset the NAND-X using the little black button through the small hole?

I'll assume that both lights (orange & red) do come on when the NAND-X is connected?

Whenever you get this error, just disconnect your Nand-X from the USB cable and connect it again. Then you won't get this error.

as the above poster has said this message means you are running the wrong version of code in the nand x for the version of nandpro you are using.

my nand x came with the latest v3 code and i got that message when i tried to use nandpro 20d and 20e i had to get nandpro 3.0.

im sure somebody will correct me if im wrong here but you need the v2 code in your nand x for nandpro 2.whatever and v3 for nandpro v3.

my personal advice download nandpro 3.0 and update your nand x to the latest code so you are bang up to date as opposed to getting an older version of nandpro and keeping the outdated code in your nand x
