Hi guys i have liteon DG-16D4S /no16c/FW 0401/HW A0A0, I have lots of info on this site but am a little stuck on the options available on flashing this drive. Does this drive need some sort of new hardware or am i barking up the wrong tree,any help would be great as this is my first slim drive.Thanks.

treat it as the other locked slims assuming u r on 13599 dash...
if it's MXIC then u need the sputnik probe or switch
if it;s Winbond u need to kamikaze it or get a TX PCB

Do you think at some point in the future they will be a flash available for this drive,thanks again for all your help.
I don't know, but I would doubt it - a lot of work and money went into these current hacks, and this is what they came up with.....it might be that someone cracks it - look at Gligli with the coolrunner...we didn't think that was possible either
