Is there a Text/INI editor that can run on the xbox. I know the keyboard is hard to use but its alot eaiser then having to drag my xbox upstairs to my conputer.
You should get iXtreme LT v1.1 for BenQ - it is the latest firmware available for that drive and will keep you safe on XBL as long as your game backups are good.Zeecar said:Sweet, so iXtreme 1.51 will work?
Thanks for the reply! Seriously! I have been going crazy trying to figure out what can and can not be done here!
Ok 12hours later, even E65'd the drive and got it back. v1.6 at least reads the disk for a brief moment then goes the the white xbox 360 screen and does nothing. LT1.1 doesn't do a thing except make a bunch of noise. I'm done for now, any help would be appreaciated, maybe try it from floppy using dos32 or something....I dunno......Smkface said:Sounds like you forgot to copy over the dvd key.
Yes, but Jungle Flasher should give you some kind of warning. If it plays DVDs but not games then you most likely forgot to copy over your DVD key. Using your original firmware that you read and saved from your BenQ drive, spoof the iXtreme LT v1.1 BenQ firmware and flash again - make sure you are following the Jungle Flasher tutorial correctly. The LT firmware can play any wave games - don't bother flashing it with older firmware, there is no point. And there's no point patching your games unless you are patching the DMI file and the SS file to SS v2 to make sure it's good for online. Test your drive with an original Xbox 360 game first and then a burned one if that works.Zeecar said:Is it even possible to Forget to copy over the dvd key in Jungle Flasher 0.1.74b?
Alan Wake is wave 6 - that game must have been patched to wave 4 before. You can check it on abgx360.net here. Abgx360 is the way to go - it does all the work for you and you can easily use it to patch games to SSv2 if you want.Zeecar said:Yep, without the patch it said it was 4 and I then didn't apply the path, just burned it, then tried 3. same outcome. 360waves Patcher or ABGX360 is the way to go though?
Thanks MrPete!
