Install 2.6 CE

One of many installs to have been done but for some reason this chip doesn't boot the blue flashbios screen. I haven't been given the option to flash the bios. I am not getting FRAG. But when I put in any DVD-R it says the disc is dirty or unrecognisable.

What's happening here, can anybody help.

It seems it was a dodgy switch, as I bypassed the switch for the D0 and used two points on the motherboard, and all is well. Now I can't switch bewtween off and on but I'm sure I can live with that.

Sorry for the earlier posting but hours and hours spent and came to a hault. What I did above was a last minute whim, but it worked so I thoght I would share my findings with you all.
