can you help me install evox on x3 chip if that is the best prog or do i have to get another prog..thanks bozzy..

chrisbzz, if you are referring to the evox dashboard you actually install that onto the hard disk (refer to xbox-scene.com's tutorials section). If you mean the bios then don't bother because X3 Config Live does everything EvoX does and a whole lot more.

just installed x3 and it seems to be working fine all i needed is the install stuf for evox i have installed the x3 and all blue lighta are on but it wont take the evox dvd iso thanks bozzy...

NFS - Hot Persuit backup wont work, but all other do??

Ran into an x360 backup issue with NFS – Hot pursuit and wanted to get some of your thoughts. I backup all my games with a flashed BenQ drive on an old RROD x360 and then use image burn to make the backup and I test all the backups. I use Memorex DVD+R -DL 8X disk and all my backups work great. But I just bought NFS – Hot Pursuit and the backups won’t work. My modded X360 plays all my backups and sees the NFS disk as a game and shows the picture like the other backups but when I go to play the game it says it cannot read the disk. I burned another copy and same thing. Here are some things in noticed;
1 – In Windows – My Computer, the DVD drive always shows 173MB when a game disk is in, but NFS shows 168 MB. (Hmmmm, new protection on 360 games?)
2 – I’ve backup up Vanquish, New Vegas and Halo Reach using the Memorex DVD+R DL at 4X speed and have never had an issue with playing them. I have been told games will only work if they are burned at 2X but 4X always has worked.
3 – None of my hardware has changed. I flashed my BenQ with the 0800 firmware and use the Schtrom360Xtract 4.1 to extract.
CLUE!!?? – NFS asked me to apply a system update when I went to play my original, could that be why this is happening? I don’t see how thought but you guys are the experts.

I read that the same mod that is coming out for the slim is the one that we need for the new wave that is coming out and i had the same prob. except i use the expensive verbatim and they said fable 3 is the same way u can only jtag them

ok i looked it up, i know now.
So basically i will have to mod my drive again after i just paid 60 bucks to have it done( i have one of the newer units and the guy had to do some soldering ). If i had known i would have waited...

ric949396, Need for speed hot pursuit 2010 is a ap25 security check title. if you have the new dashboard and run ap25 titles you system becomes flagged as failing ap25 checks and will not boot these titles. as of now those titles are fabel 3, sims 3,ac:brotherhood, and nfs 2010.. and preaty much any other new title coming out.
Unless you have an older system that still has a samsung dvd drive in it all ap25 titles will flag your system and not boot. older samsung drives do not run these checks.

just run the iso through abgx 1.0.4 - more reliable than manually patching!
