Install flashbios 3.0.1

Hi,

I have got a question: How can I install flashbios on my xbox? Is there a program to flash my xbox using a network connection from my pc? My xbox type: 1.6 and I am using an Excecuter 2.6 CE.

During the last bios update I erased the flashbios program. So at this moment I am not able to install an other bios. Please Help!!

While you no longer have FlashBIOS on your mod chip, do you still have a mod BIOS that works? Trying to determine if the question is:
"I've wiped/corrupted all usable information on my mod chip and can't boot with it, how do I fix it?"
or:
"I no longer have FlashBIOS on my mod and don't know any other way to flash the chip; what do I need to do?"

If it is the former, that the chip cannot be booted from, then DJ provided the answer. Programmer or hotswap. There are some hotswap guides around these forums and on Xbox-Scene, but I would strongly recommend the programmer. If you're in the USA check www.themodchip.com, they have an older X2 programmer on sale for cheap. It works fine with the 2.6 series of chips, you just need to make sure you have the chip positioned correctly.

If you still have and can still boot a working mod BIOS from your chip, you can flash via applications on the Xbox. The EvolutionX dashboard has a flash utility built in, but it is sort of limited. There is an application called FlashX that provides great control over flashing. If you want FlashBIOS to be on boot bank 2 (logical banks 3 and 4, see the link in my sig if you're confused) you can do that without touching bank 1. Shouldn't take much to get FlashBIOS back on your chip with this.
