Install new harddrive

Hi I'm trying to install my new 120gb harddrive.
First thing is to backup the current c and e and then put new harddrive into xbox, after this step do I have to format the new drive? or just put the backup c and e into the new harddrive and lock it then I'm done. Plz correct me if im wrong. How do I put a specific amount of gb to my drives?

So you don't have to format it and just need to put the harddrive back in and install the backup and lock it if you want?

Easy way back up c,e
Put in new HDD get yourself an auto installer ( ultimate dash 4 or slayers or something like that ) when you boot xbox with disc in it will format the HDD and load all programs that you will need once done lock drive

Then select if you want a large 'f, no g' or 'f up to 137gb and g the rest' (i recomend large f, no g, but doesn't really matter)

This is the point where the X3 formats the hard drive.
