Install Problem on v1.1

I have a v1.1 xbox and doing the wire install since the holes are filled on this one. I have done many installs and never ran into this problem. I keep getting FRAG. I have removed the wires completley and reinstalled them to make sure I didnt have any cold solder joints. I am still getting the same thing. This leads me to believe I either have a bad chip or the cromwell bios is corrupt and I cant boot the chip.

My first thought is to use the X2 programmer to flash a bios on the chip. I have not use the 2.0 programmer on a 2.6 chip before. I have done a 2.3. Will a 2.0 programmer work on a 2.6 chip?

If this doesnt work I will get another chip and try again.

Make sure your switches aren't the problem. Check the connections between the wires and the switches.

Insteresting. I didnt know the switch could cause the problem. I will verify these and cross my fingers this is it.
