Hi folks,

Might sound a strange one but it does make sense. I don't have my HDD through yet hence asking rather than trying it myself.

I want to rip my copy of Guitar Hero 2 onto my Jtag which is fine. However, some of you may recall there was a custom GH2 disk floating about that contained the GH1 tracks that were never released for the 360 so I figured I may as well rip that too.

However, as they're both the same game effectively, I imagine if I use ISO2GOD I'll just get the same file/folder list output to the HDD for both so I was wondering if I can rename the title in ISO2GOD and/or rename the output folder so it's not going to show up as the same game in the NXE or FSD?

To be honest, I wouldn't mind if it showed up as the same game, as long as there were 2 entries to choose from. Anyone tried this?

Cheers.

Well, I got my HDD yesterday so can answer my own question - it works just fine.

I ripped the games to ISO & converted both with god2iso, modfying the name of The GH2 custom disk to GH1 and changing a random character in the Title ID.

Both show up in NXE just fine, and both play just fine. The only issue is that because they're basically the same game files, the 360 always thinks you played GH2 last when it may have been GH1. Not a big deal.
