Hello all. I'm a couple years behind everyone, but trying to install x360key with remote. Ran into my first bump....
Well, the remote reads the games, but the xbox can't get past reading them from the dashboard-just hangs on reading and times out. I followed the guide (http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/se7ensins-official-x360key-thread.591545/), updated the microSD to 1.06, updated FW on remote to 1.3, used Lizard toolbox, and the LTPLUS 3.0b fileset, then added the four files with the keys.
1. cpu.txt
2. dvd.txt
3. fcrt_enc.bin
4. 1175.txt
According to the guide, I only need these four files, but I needed my FW included in the list of files to be placed on the microSD card (seems obvious). So, I renamed my FW file to dummy.bin and added it to the list, so now I have 5 files on the microSD and the remote workes. Not sure what the point of the fcrt_enc.bin file is. So, the remote is happy because it now has actual FW (256k file size) on it. The xbox fires up, all looks well, but games won't play...they just keep trying to read. So, two questions:
Did I use the correct fileset (LTPLUS 3.0b) with the Lizard toolbox?
Since my xbox was spoofed as 1175, is it okay that I used that as my txt file? OR should the txt file be 02510C.txt?
my xbox: LITEON-DG16D2S-02510 spoofed as LITEON-DG16D5S-1175
