Installation problem for JRP v2

Hello all,
I am sorry to ask you certainly a stupid and noob question but i have a problem with my JRP v2: i cant install it. When i plug it it blink in red led and in the device manager it is marked as Unknow device. I tried to update it on J Runner for a new firmware but it mark me no device found.
Second question: is it normal that if i dont plug any cable on it it is not recognised by the PC?

Hello!
Thanks for your answer. My big problem is that i am not able to install the JRP v2. When i plug it on the PC it is just recognised as an unknow device. So the computer doesnt understand that it is the JR v2. The led is red and when i want to flash it into jrunner with the hex it just said: no device found.
I am just thinking that my product has a problem because normaly it would be recognised as a JR programmer on win7 isnt it?

Go into device manager where it says unknown device, right click on it and select update drivers. Then browse to the jrp drivers in the jrunner/common/drivers folder and it will install the correct driver

Hello guys!
Thanks for your answer! My prob is just that when i go to the device manager and i want to update manually the driver win7 just say that i cant install it because it is not compatible with the device. It marks me that the driver must be made for work with x64 processor. It is like that the driver pruftechnik was not recognised as a 64bit driver for my win7...
I am really lost with this problem guys!

Have you tried restarting in Advanced settings and running without the driver thing, it then lets you install the drivers. (not sure if that method works in win7)

Hello guys!
I test the installation without the driver signature verification but not luck it doesnt work. I cant install the JRP on my x64 win7... Didnt know how i can do now because i have no more idea.
I hope you could help me again.

hello there if any could walk me throu this jr programmer and cr4 install would be great??????????1 i have connected my J-R programmer trying to figure out how to get green light as of now its red?????????2 ok got the green light to work on J-R programmer ?????????????3 J-R programmer logo dosnt show up on jr programmer????????4 ok dont no much about this but willing to learn have to start some where

Hello guys!
I solved my problem! I found an other JRP and it is working like a charm. So my first JRP is faulty.
Thanks for your help and i think that i will eventually post messages for help when i will start my first installation.
