Installation question Xecuter 2.6 and Xapt3r

OK,

I apologize for my stupidity as I am going to attempt my first modchip install. Now, I need to know if I have everything I need. If I have aXecuter 2.6 CE the Xapt3r adapter ( so I don't have to Solder) and a new 250 GB drive, am I ready to go? Is there anything I have to do special to the new hard drive to be able to back up all my games to the hard drive? I am assuming something has to be installed on the hard drive first even with the mod chip and adapter installed.

You have to read!

First off you will need to get a bios from Xbins. Get 5035. Be sure you read the readme file. You can learn how to use xbins here: http://xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php You will also need to download a dashboard. This can also be downloaded from Xbins.

Once you have your bios, read this: http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios/

I suggest you download Slayer's, and use that to install your new hard drive. It will format the drive and install the dash of your choice.
