LITEON 93450 Installed newest dash on LT 1.1

My X360 is running LT V1.1 right now. This last weekend, while in a drunken haze with little to no common sense to muster up, I decided to load up a backup of Dead Island. It required a dash upgrade to which I thought "sure, what harm could that do?" To my surprise, after the upgrade completed and the system rebooted, I was presented with a white screen indicating that the firmware update could not be read from the disk. Furthermore, I am unable to get into the dash or do anything other than stare at this error message.​

I fully admit my newbie mistake and vow to never drink and X360 again, but now am asking for some help. I assume I need to upgrade to LT 2.0, which is what I am prepared to do. However, when I do this, will the dash continue to upgrade on its own from the DVD? Is there some trick to getting this upgrade to finish? Also, have I just tagged my system to be banned next time I go online?​

Update the drive to LT 2.0 and pop the disc back in, the update should continue and yes, your system will probably be flagged for a ban.

Good to know, and oh damn. I assume there is no known way to remove these flags?

Also one more question: if my system is indeed banned, am I still able to download dashboard and game updates, or am I banned from that as well? I don't actually play games online but I would still like to be able to download game updates to patch bugs and such.

No way to remove flags, but a Ban might not arrive for ages, plus you can't be 100% sure your flagged yet, but yes, all probability says yes.

After a Ban you can perform updates via the USB port, if you do get banned definately get the RGH done.
