I installed SX Lite last night and got the boot.dat? screen. After putting the unit back together and placing the Boot.dat on the root of the sd card, it boots straight to OFW without getting to the SX OS update screen. I removed the sd card and the boot.dat? is no longer appears, but still getting a green light from the SX Lite chip. I turned on this morning and boot.dat appears again and then it disappears again after I powercycle and now boot.dat? doesn't seem to show up at all as of now, but I am still getting green light from the chip.

Is there a loose connection on the soldering? or loose connection from the chip? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

What OFW version is your Switch currently running?

Are you using SX OS 3.0.4 boot.dat?

Check all flex cable connections and solder connections to the mainboard.

Have you formatted your SD card to FAT32 with GUI Format?

I am using exFat, but I don't thing it's matter right now since I don't see the boot.dat? when I turn it on. Do you think something to do with the flex connection? Because people usually get pink or red lights if the soldering is bad. I get green light contantly.

You should see the boot.dat screen if the chip is installed correctly.

This is why I suggested that you checked connections.

Format your SD card to FAT32 and try again.

I will recheck everything tonight. Thanks for your help.
Just another update. I actually get green light right away, no blue light at all. Wonder what that means
