Hooking up 360 drive to PC help....

Hi all, I am a noob when it comes to 360's.... I picked up a new xbox 360 drive that I want to install into my computer to backup my games...is this possible? I've been using the wxripper way and it's a pain in the butt...So I just want to install this drive and backup my games this way..does anyone know how I can do this? any help would be great....cheers...

you need to buy a connectivity kit like the CK3 Pro to power the drive and connect it to your PC. It can't be "installed" to your pc as a normal drive would. You need the connectivty kit and a compatiable sata card.

google ixtreme 0800 firmware and you will find it. then you flash it to your spare drive just like you would with regular ixtreme firmware. Just follow the jungle flasher tutorial, its the same process. team xecuter makes the CK3, so just check out their website on where you can get one!

hey ayden2004 i know a place to get a good connectivty kit for u cheaper than what some of these mod chips. go on ebay and search connectivity kit they r on there for about 25 to 30 bucks for one. and they do work i just got mine a couple days ago and its workin like a charm.

paulwall816 cool thanks, I have checked out a couple I got one for 15 bucks Canadian shipped and everything from a place called diygadget.com it's just a power dongle...cheers..
