RGH Installer(coventry) + required tools

Hey, Just wondering what are the required tools for RGHing an jasper (elite). I have soldered before, a few years back at college but havent recently. Is it easy to install?

Does anyone install or know anyone that does the RGH in coventry UK area?

Perfect, thanks! Now i just need to find an installer in the coventry UK area. Does anyone know anyone? or close to coventry?

Yeah, seen vids and stuff. I would prefur to drop it off personally and collect personally instead of sending it via post etc. Thats why i was looking for someone near to coventry/nuneaton.

I would install it myself just i dont have much time at the moment due to college exams etc if i cant find anyone then i think ill have to leave it until july :(

Also thinking, i have a crap soldering iron + solder. i remeber back in the day of jtag i fcuked it up because i believe i used solder which was to thick and the iron i had was just a joke. Could anyone recommend me an iron + solder for RGH?

I recommend not going near an Xbox until you get some serious soldering practice in. Look through the MANY posts on here where people have made a mess of what should be a simple enough install.

i would recomend this guy if you cant find anybody near you he has done a few for me in the last few months and they are faultless :D:D....wouldnt be to worried about posting it as long as its wrapped up safely most couriers are good .....then you wouldnt have to wait till july only a few days ...

mate for what a GOOD iron will cost you be cheaper to send to garageinc tbh

make sure you test alot on the old board before you move on to a workin xbox.

it not a thing you get the knack of in few trial runs on a old board.

and read all the tuts and watch martins videos to.

yup will do :). thanks everyone so far for your comments, ive done soldering before at college think once i refresh myself i should be okay. ill up a pic in a moment of my current iron, i think it is sh1t...
