Does anyone Know how this guy did this case mod? i would like to do one very similar, but i dont know if the plexiglass is under the outside of the case, even with it, or above it and etc.

It definitely looks like the Plexiglas is under the plastic shell, not flush with it or above it.

its below it, here is my system I did based off this design.
1/8th" plexi with cut case pieces glued to it for the floating parts. Need more help let me know. Done many with pictures of them all at my website.

dude that looks freakin sick with the dvd case cut as a gear too! question though, i bought the storm led v2 and i was wondering if i got the red plexiglass and put the led's on glow, on red, would it still look like it was glowing on and off red with the red plexi glass or would i be better off with just regular clear plexiglass?
The only thing is it is difficult to see into the console when the LEDs are off as the tinted plexi is dark. I would recommend using red though, it gives you the red effect even when off which I like much more than clear, thats why I always use color tinted plexi only used clear once, just don't like the look of it personally.
