Hi guys/gals

I'm going to be installing coolrunner & NAND-x to my phat Xenon.
Can my tosh/sammy remain on stock firmware, as I won't be using backups.
But I do want to transfer my originals to the hdd, for faster loading & do away with having to get up and change discs.
Is this possible with stock fw & newer titles?

Regards
Shad.

Doh! I looked at the kit and the xenon qsb's led me into thinking they could be jtag'ed.

Oh well looks like I'll be getting a new 360 at the weekend too lol.

Thanks for the replies

I've never updated the dash, so I might still be able to jtag with the NAND-x, I'll save the CR for my bros slim.

I'm working away at the moment, so I'll have to wait to check my dash version at the weekend

If it's exploitable, is my original question possible re dumping my originals to hdd with stock firmware?

Thanks again
Shad.

I've read rgh roadmap, but I can't use rgh on my hardware.

Got some replies answering my question on another forum, so you can mark this answered & close.

"1. BEFORE you solder ANYTHING to the console:

Identify your console:

i. It must have a HANA chip. If you can't see it, it can't be done.
ii. All Slim consoles with a HANA chip can be done.
iii. Phat consoles with a HANA chip will be one of the following:

Zephyr - (16.5A ~12V)
Falcon or Opus - (14.2A ~12v)
(Falcon has HDMI, Opus doesn't).
Jasper - (12.1A ~ 12V)"

So you didn't wonder why Xenon wasn't mentioned?
