Okay, ive flashed my chip now I need a dashboard. I have Evox and Avalaunch already downloaded. Ive already unpacked it from the winrar file. Now what do I do to get that dashboard onto my xbox. Is there any way that I can put the dashboard on there without having to connect my xbox to my pc?? If so, ive looked everywhere for the answers and couldn't find anything, would someone please give me some advice? Thanks.

So what all do I need to do it, just the link cable and FlashFXP?? Like I said, I have Evox, Avalaunch, and XBMC...so all I have to do is network it to my pc and use FlashFXP to install correct?? Thanks again
Yes, your process is correct, but you will have to get a crossover cable to connect your XBox directly to your computer.
You can install a dashboard without connecting your XBox to your computer. It is very easy. You could just download Slayer's, and have that install a dash for you.
Or, extract your EvolutionX, Avalaunch and XBMC files. Copy the EvolutionX and XBMC folders into your Avalaunch folder. Make a copy of avadash.xbe, and rename it to default.xbe. Then, make an xISO with Qwix, making sure your default.xbe is in the root. Burn it, and boot with that CD/DVD in the XBox drive. Open Avalaunch's file manager, and copy everything from the CD/DVD except default.xbe onto your XBox hard drive.

If you had the Auto Installer Deluxe disk you would not need to connect your xbox to your pc. once the mod chip is flashed, you can throw the AID disk in and it will load all your dashboard, emulator, and apps needs.

boot it, go to a file explorer app, remove disk, insert xbmc disk, copy to directory of your choice!
No pc connection required!
You may wanna tut up on making a disk that can b read by Xbox though!

Where would one get this Auto installer? More importantly, what is the exact name of it? Thanks in advance as I am about to attempt my first "alteration" soon.
Just get Slayer's auto installer, burn it on a DVD, and boot it in your xbox. That's as simple as it gets.

if you installed evox which was on a cd-rw, then it would install!
only because u used a cd-rw this would not miss files on the installation!
i expect if you reinstalled using the cd-rw it would have worked!

I have flashed the bios but when I place the DVD of Slayer's auto installer into the drive I get nothing. What am I doing wrong? Is there some option I need to select or something?
