is there any advantage or way to install games to the hard drive, like on an unmodded 360, that actually gives a noticeable difference to load times compared to off an external hdd? I know there is the GOD format too, how does this compare? are ther other options?

Everyone recommends IS02GOD for a reason, It is really, really, really good. And very simple to use.

And i couldn't see a noticeable difference between running them from an internal than an external. There is a real big noticeable difference between external HD and the Disc drive.

You cannot just load ISO's up from the Hard Drive.

God Format is basically the same way M$ does it. So why look for another option. I suppose you could just put your original in and use xexmenu or FSD copy straight to HD for you.

i recommend exiso. i prefer the jtag format for games as opposed to god containers. the advantage over the other is plain and simple. game mods and stuff. one of the key advantage of having a jtag unit is being able to run hacked games. and doing that you will need to manipulate the game folder. i mean you can extract and inject stuff to a game iso then break it down to god. but thats too much work. by the way. having the game folder also helps because you can change upfates and stuff with the game. just stick with the basics and don't try to do too much. if unsure how to go about it just go to my site and shoot me a message and ill be more than happy to help you through the process of loading games to your hard drive via usb stick and xex

Why hack a game?

It takes all the fun out of it. I platinum-ed MW3 and FF XIII on PS3 and got the 1000 points on the XBOX 360 versions and it gave me an enormous sense of Pride and achievement. (What can i say. Love them)

the option to hack a game is nice if you are into it, no reasopn not to if you are paying offline. But I did not know god worked on exhdd too... I may just end up using that if it is noticeably better

I tired iso2god tonight. So I ended up with a folder called 4D5309DF. I take it I can FTP this to my XBOX using Filezilla or similair and that it should go in /Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/.

Whats odd is there already a folder with the name in the above directory. I cannot just overwrite it or rename can I?

You can put GOD games anywhere you wish, providing that you set the relevant path in FSD.

The default directory is Content/0000000000000000..... why not just delete the old folder and put the new one in it's place?

Yes that worked thanks. Why do some folders end up with the same name/numbers? Can you manually change them?
