I used slayer's 2.6 to install the evox dashboard and want to install new apps such as the new version of xbmc and dvd2xbox. While in FlashFXP where do I install them too? I tried installing in the f: drive where the old folder of xbmc is for example and nothing happens and I can't find a tut or forum post anywhere! In the new version of xbmc does it have a selection for the x3 lcd? And is that how I get the lcd to display songs and such? Cause the old version had just xenium and smartxx for options. (I know, I'm a noob)

To upgrade a program you just write over the old one.
Xbox Media Center is little different. Sometimes, not always, you need to delete cache files if it doesn't work right or locks up on you. Go to www.xbox-scene.com\forums\xboxmediacenter for more info on that.
As far as your xbox goes does the media center you downloaded have a default.xbe file in the root of the folder?

Oh yeah, I did get it to work. At first the 'skins' folder didn't copy and I got a fatal error when trying to load it, but after recopying over the skin folder it works now. Thanks!
