Installing new bios

I Have a 1859 bios and trying to upgrade it, and when i try upgrading it with a 2913 it flashes correct.
Then when i turn it on nothing happens, it just black.
I really want to upgrade my bios.
Please somebody help me.

for starters, can you tell me what xbox version you have and did you flash the correct bios (type in the name if you could)? What switches have you set?

its a 1.4

You profile says 1.4 so make sure you got the 2913 not the 2913_1.6
Also now you shuld probly flash with the 2914.
did you have the banks selected right.
over all just try reflashing it with the 2914 bios but not the 2914_1.6

And also not to critisiz but a prigy hugh ranked forum guy dosn't know how to ceck a guys prfile. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm shure he knows more than i do but. WOW!!!

Don't assume that people's profiles are correct.

Unless they tell you something on the forum, don't treat it as gospel.

DemonSlayer is speled corect. I gess you think it is spelled Deamon Slayer
I say more but am not going to get baned doing so.
And if I Mention that he Supposedly has a 1.4 (Which I did) and reads it. Therefor he shall know that that solution isn't for him.

Hey, it worked. I was installing the 1.6 bios.
Everything is good but, how do you get the new skins.
I have som cheep one on with x3 just spinnig in the back.
I go to download skins but it says error, even though im connected ot the net.
How do i install the cool skins.
Please Help. and thanks for the advice.

Guys,
I need your help, I installed a 2.3 lite with 200Gb in my first xbox, it is working great. I cannot buy the 2.3 lite anymore. I am buying a X3 but I cannot find the bios anywhere. I have gone to the FDFNet but the #channels were they supposed to be do not exist anymore. What I am doing wrong?
Also, can I flash a X3 chip with my old bios?

That's all you need to know.
Yes you can use an X2 BIOS on an X3 chip but you will lose a all X3 functionality.
