installing secondary dash??

Hi again folks, another, probably more or less stupid Q.
I have X3 installed and XBMC as dash, i installed a new HD without backing up MS dash. Now, how can i install a new secondary dash (MS or another) ? Can this be done without deleting XBMC? Do i use a different setting on the memory bank?? (the bios has probably nothing to do with the dash??) but i do need a secondary / original MS bios right?, hopefully this one is still intact. Of course i have done all the noob mistakes known to man, but, knock wood, i did all of the soldering my self and it works. Oh before i forget, i have 1.6b version of the box.

ok, to recap. what i really need to know is how to install a secondary dash, preferbly the org. MS dash. i have the slayers auto installer and the org dash is supposed to be there, right??

And just fore the sake of it, i did search the forums on beforehand.

All tips will be much appreciated, thankz for a great forum.

You can install as many dashboards as you like, they run like normal applications.
You can copy them all over and switch the boot priority in X3 CL to which dashboard you like to boot to first. You can even start another dashboard from each other.

You will probably want to restore msdash with slayers auto installer I guess and copy all the applications you want to use as well.

Hi and thanks for reply, one more question; will restoring the org. msdash, wipe out whatever content is on the HD??
