Installing Xecuter 2.6CE - few questions

Hi,

My Xecuter 2.6 CE should be here tomorrow but before I fit it I want to get everything sorted!

My xbox is a 1.6 (already had it open to see how hard the soldering would be!), I've downloaded x2 5035 (and evox, but dont think i'll use that), the filename of the bios I'm going to flash is: x2_5035_v16plus_512k.bin, please correct me if this is wrong!

I understand I need to rename it to bios.bin and make a dummy file and I know the settings to use to burn the cd/dvd

The question I have is this, in bios .rar that I downloaded it says to use the x2config file in this release, the x2config.ini is there also, but where do i use it and how?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but in all the guides and posts I've read I cant find what its for?

That file allows you to change a lot of the behavior of the 5035 bios. Don't worry about that for flashing. If the bios cannot find that file it loads baked in defaults. After you have the bios flashed and a dashboard running you can FTP or copy the config file from a cd to your F root drive.
