JTAG Installing Xex Menu.

I formatted my jtag Xbox hard drive forgetting that it had Xex Menu installed on it and now I can't access the games on my external HDD. Can anyone give me some advice/help on re-installing this? I'm still currently on the old dashboard as I'm not sure which type of Jtag it is.

I did search Google but all YouTube posts and guides were out of date (the most recent 2010) and had dead links to the required files.
