I want to start flashing Slim xboxes. Need confirmation on the information I have gathered.

Tools I need:
x360USB Pro
CK3 pro
Sputnik360 Probe
A blade (To perform the cut)
A Fiberglass tool to rub the point of incision (place where cut is to be performed)
JF+FW.

Steps to Perform
1) Open Slim360, remove drive and open it up.
2) Rub the point with fiberglass, clean it up.
3) Perform an Incision
4) Hook the dvd drive up.
5) Start JF, start Intro, send command to unlock
6) Probe point, cycle power
7) Drive gets unlocked (Then standard flashing instructions)
8) Lock the drive again
9) Solder flux on the connection point to disable the cut and get the flow going again on the board.
10) seal the xbox and happy gaming.

This is what I believe is how it will go down.
Also, can I have some alternatives for the Fiberglass as I forgot to add it to my order and it takes 2 weeks to ship internationally to my place. Last order took 13 days =x.

Also as for modding the Winbond Drives;

No cuts required, Just the drimmel and the operating theatre till its unlocked. Followed by the standard instructions to mod.

Thanks for taking your time and helping me out.
Cheers. :D

This is for the slim xboxes with mcix chipsets but if the slim xbox has a winbond chipset the you need to do the kamakazie unlock and its not for beginners. do a search for kamakazie unlock

What you have for mcix unlock though is fine

Fully aware of the Kamakazie method; I have no problems handling a drimmel , have used it before plenty on other things.

But I believe the steps are rock solid for the MXIC chipsets, thats all I needed to confirm and seems agree on the steps.
Cheers
