Internal or External Hardrive

I'm kind of in a pickle.

I just ordered my Xecuter JTAG kit and while it's in transit I wondered what would be better.

If I have this right I can go Internal or External.

Internal I would figure I can get a shell from ebay and buy a 2.5 500gb drive and format it in NXE on the Jtag console right?

External I would buy a USB drive and just hook it up regular and put everything on there


First do i have everything right?

Second what are the advantages of either one

If you want a large internal drive, then this is the largest that will fit into the ms caddy. I have one of these in my jtag and like not having to carry about external drive when going round my mates.

One more question. If i wanted to get my profile onto the new hardrive is there special steps i need


I dont care about the saves being on my live xbox and i was going to hook up my original and an external then just recover my profile on a USB on my live box


Or is there an easy way i can transfer my profile and saves to the new hardrive with a USB

Im thinking copy profile, plug usb in, ftp and copy all file to computer. Then copy back to live xbox. Format usb copy from computer then copy to jtag xbox

But that seems like alot of copying

All i care about is gettig existing saves and profile to new jtag and i can use both internal and external but seeing if there is an option for one hardrive in jtag
