invalid code when retrieving license on Activation Site

My pro license code is invalid when trying to get license.dat from the Activation site.
How do I proceed for a fix?

I bought a PRO dongle from an official reseller and they sent me a SXgear + license. I thought it was weird that the in-built code wasn't working and they told me to wait for a digital code. It came today and worked. Problem fixed I guess

If they sent you the SX Gear then there is no internal code. If you bought the SX Pro, the code is hard coded.
