Invalid Image Failed to create ecc image

After reading nand and flashing coolrunner. i try to create ecc.

I have coolrunner rev b installed and demon. Demon is hooked up to CR and cr_en point for rev b and a.

demon is not showing any lights but coolrunner is. xbox won't boot either

But when trying to create ecc i get

Post some images of your soldering.

I'm pretty confident that's a soldering issue.

Is the light on the DemoN ON or OFF?

Also, please tell me the point of uploading low quality, blurry pics? Do you actually want help or are you just bored?

no there is no light on the demon.and sorry i have no real camera. all pics i take suck i know. thats why i don't ever bother uploading them. there's no use.

So do the obvious continuity checks first.

If you don't have the ability to get proper pics taken, don't post for help. A half decent camera doesn't cost the earth and if you have the cash for a DemoN and coolrunner, a camera shouldn't be too much. It's just a a waste of time for everyone otherwise.

I can see at least 2 QSB points which need attention. As said, do the necessary checks. Pics will only ever help so far but thanks for uploading better quality ones.

Open one of your dumps in a hex editor and paste the first 3 lines.

the entire dump is "FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF"

i'm not quite the pro at soldering so if you could point out the qsb's that need some work that would be great. i know the one by the ribbons needs a fix up but i cant get a strong connection between the board and contact

No one can help you solder on a message board. Why do you think there's a STOP card in the box with the DemoN? Send it to someone to solder for you.

i dont have the cash atm. and i want to do these in the future. i have gone b points, over all qsb's and thay all have a connection. and the other points are soldered well. will upload new pics soon.

to sum it up, i want to do this myself. at the least, a learning experience

I respect that. However respect our right to close any future demon related threads you start due to you not being experienced enough to install it.
