okay i have a few xbox's in my place(chipped with 2.6's)
this is my 1st X3 install
my network is set up thruogh a router on a cable modem
whenver i want to FTP to a different xbox i need to turn of the cable modem for 5-10 mins to clear the memory and upon reboot it assigns whatever xbox is connected an Ip address. this address stays the same for that xbox untill another is connected then i have to repeat the prcedure.
now with my X3 set up the IP method works fine but when i re-boot the xbox the IP is lost
nothing has changed on my network set up so im guessing its an X3 setting i need to change
i deactivated live blocking as i thought this was the problem but its still the same.
xbox is a 1.6 crystal
any help appreciated
