Does it matter ... there are more civilians working as contractors in Iraq than soldiers. The Xbox came from Iraq? It could have come form anywhere - the point is that the box doesn't work, and has an unknown chip and an unknown history.
you really are an idiot. don't you have anything better to do then interrupt a thread? monkeyknuckles was more than happy to say where the xbox came from. i am sure he is proud of his brotehr, as we all are, for serving in iraq and thinking enough of him to buy it and ship it to him.

the most interesting part of this thread was realizing that things can'r be all that bad in iraq if a us soldier can hawk an xbox on the street.

thnaks for the info monkey.

An idiot? Thread crapping? Looking for an argument?

I have a number of friends in the military - from both US and Australian armed forces that have served or are serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and various UN peace keeper locations. I have complete respect for the troops, and the job they do. I had an offer to join the RAAF - and took a "civilian" career instead ... so it is a lifestyle and commitment I can deeply appreciate.

But, how is knowing if his brother is a soldier in Iraq going to fix the problem, or help identify what the "ugly chip running an M7 BIOS" might be? It wasn't until post #9 where someone (me) asked if this was even an Xecuter chip installed.

Pull your head out of your arse. I am not anti military, I was trying to ask the right questions to help identify what the problem was. "Is your brother a soldier" doesn't help at all.

Having an Xbox purchased on the streets of Baghdad is cool though :) ...
definate bragging rights with your mates.

i just want to say this i am proud of my brother being over there and doing what he does, and all the military forces.but i had a simple question about a problem with the xbox he sent me YES it's not an x3 chip my xbox has an x3 and i enjoy this forum ,honestly where else would i go.For the ones out there that that are willing to help i thank you. but if someone doesn't have an x3 don't sh*t on them. tokenuser iwent in search for the chip info and found a solution and just wanted to let everyone know.i only know about x3 so when i got this one didn't know where to go so end the end it wasn't even the chip at all
