I just got banned today from irc by catogtp and he won't respond to the reason for the ban, I'm very familiar with the channel rules and I don't think I violated any of them. The last thing I was talking about was how engineers count from zero were most people start counting from one. If someone can shed some light hit me up. It isn't the end of the world but I would like to know what it was for so I don't repeat offend or what the deal was so it can be cleared up.

Well the ban is over now I'm back in so I guess I will just wear padded shorts next time. 
My biggest worry was that I had been mistaken for someone else and the ban may have been perm and that would have not been fun.

heh, I have been banned from various IRC channels/networks for the dumbest reasons. I got banned from gamesurge a while ago because some nub admin banned my entire ISP instead of just banning the foo who was spamming up virus sites.
alot of irc guys are uptight, I know there must be some rules but they dont need to be so uptight.
I don't know what's worse:
1. The fact that you don't know why you got kicked/banned(albeit was only a temp ban)

Pauldy, if you cant handle it, maybe you should try and venture in the real world for a day or so. sh*t happens, just deal with it. No need to post poinless threads like this.
