I recently bought a WD Scorpio Blue WD7500BPVT for my Xbox Slim. I have HDDHackr 1.40, a boot-able USB (formatted properly), my HDDSS,bin (500gb). Does this method still work? I know that V1.40 was created for 500gb+ hdd's, but there's hasn't been any posts, anywhere, in almost a year. I've been out of the modding scene for a while, but I've found that most older vids and tut's work, regardless of the hardware/software you're using. Is it true that this method may not work on newer laptops? I'm tired of hearing and reading "If at first you don't succeed, try another computer." DOS is so basic, it shouldn't matter what chipset is in what laptop/desktop. Any light on this would be greatly appreciated.

no HDDhackr still works but only up to 500 GB WD drives. And you have a 750GB drive. There was never a secutry sector file release/made for a 750GB drive only 500GB and lower.

there is a hddss.bin for a 500gb hdd for the xbox 360. Unknown where it came from, but apparently it does work.
