Yeah I think you have to remove if you have a 1.6 version box. Correct me if I am wrong people.

Damn i wish I would have seen this post before i started soldering. This walkthrough is really good!. I soldered all the pins on with the LPC rebuild (not just the ones only shown on this walkthrough) is that going to be a problem? As of right now my box frags is it a good it to remove the solder from the pins that are not actually part of the LPC rebuild?

.
STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING NOW!

Desolder everything and start over using the guide link i posted. DO NOT USE THE LPC REBUILD BOARD OR DO ANY LPC REBUILD.

DO NOT DO THE EXTRA 5V wire!

But, I have a 1.6 box. Don't I need to do the rebuild and use the 5v wire??????

You hijacked this thread.

Ace_London has a 1.1...

This is why you don't hijack threads. Just start your own if you have a problem.

1.6's use the LPC and the Alt 5.5v source.

So its only necessary for version 1.6, huh? Thanks a lot, guys
When you use the LPC it can only fit if you take off the right pins.
