if the hd dvd player can read burnt discs, then yes. As long as you burn it on hd media i'm pretty sure it'd work. Read up on the hd 360 drive to see if it does play burnt movies.

Ermm.. an HD burner would probably cost around $1000 right now. It's not worth it.

Blue-Ray and HD-DVD are two different high definition standards. There are two applications that I know of that will create HD-DVD files for burning to DVD+R or DVD+R DL. Check out doom9.org for latest achievements in ripping, creating, and burning HD-DVD's. They also talk about ripping Blue-Ray.

Slyfox.com has developed a useable beta for copying HD-DVD files from a HD-DVD player connected to a PC. They have started a new forum on their web site that talks about and lets you download the beta.

If you go to their main web page www.slyfox.com it has a button to go to their newly established forum that discusses anydvd_hd. Not sure why that confused you.

oldhacker : The company is slysoft not slyfox. The program AnyDVD has a fox logo, so I can see where you got mixed up. www.slyfox.com is disc jockey in Wyoming. I doubt he's copying HD-DVD discs !
