Well, I knew they'd play. I know there is never 'safe', but I mean like as safe as it gets. I'm not going to get instantly flagged or anything am I. I will have just as much chance as before as I do now with the updated dae.bin?
I would say yes as the hitachi drives don't have the capability to check for ap2.5. Although all the xgd3 games will have ap2.5 the hitachi drives don't have the capability to perform the checks.

It has already been answered for you in the earlier post,
As all hitachi's apart from the 78/79 fw versions don't have the capability to support ap25 then the silent update will not effect them,
Basically it's as safe as it can be but as stated nothing is a 100% live safe apart from an unmodded console and an original
