Hey yall. I have the latest 512kb bios for the x2 flashed to my Xecuter 2.6 CE chip.

I was just wondering, my buddy has an old Xecuter 2 LITE chip, and his is with a 512kb bios as well.

Would flashing this really new and lastest greatest 512kb bios to his chip be ok or is there a like a strict limit to how new of a bios he is allowed to use?

Yes it would be fine - just remember to use the correct version for his Xbox.

Thanks Martin. What do you mean version? Like version 1.0 - 1.5 vs. 1.6?

Exactly. Use the "old" version for boxes that are v1.5 or less, and the "1.6" version for... 1.6 xboxes.

I've personally installed X2CL 5035 on both an X2.3 lite and X2.3b lite. Works just fine.
